What an amazing day for the city of Pittsburgh! On a hot summer day...300,000 Penguin Fans packed downtown to get a glimpse of our Stanley Cup Champions! Here is a franchise that was broke 10 years ago...the worst team in the NHL 5 years ago...nearly eliminated from the playoffs 6 months ago...down two games to none to Detroit...AND NOW...the Stanley Cup resides in Pittsburgh!
What what an incredible night for the Pens and their fans! There were almost as many Penguin fans outside of Mellon Arena as inside! That was the loudest I've ever heard the Arena in all the years I've been there! Pens win again! Now it's on to Detroit of Game #5!!! Go Pens!
